The theme feeds off the Government’s theme “working together we can do more”. It emphasise the fact that we all have a role to play in water conservation.

Water plays a major role in the hospitality industry going to 2010 Soccer World Cup.

Water’s role in addressing the social equity and poverty alleviation.

Government’s progress with regards to access to basic water supply and free basic water.

The necessity of water conservation and demand management.

Creating awareness around water safety in sport and the recreational use of water.

Ensuring the cleanliness and the integrity of our water resources.

The Department’s role in regulating water quality.

George Lodge is flying the flag today

The George Lodge is part of this hole team our lodge may be beidge on the outside our bus may be blue our 22 rooms got its own theme but today at the George Lodge you will only see yellow as the staff at the George Lodge is taking part in the National Fly the Flag day by wearing yellow shirts. This is the mark to tell everyone its only 100 days to go before the first soccer ball will be kicked off in Soccer City Johannesburg on 11 June

At 12:00 everyone is asked to sing the national anthem of South Africa dance the diski dance and acknowledfe the flag
