George Lodge International newsletter










Dear Customer

It has been six months since our last newsletter and the world cup 2010 is almost on our
doorstep. Unfortunately as all things in life prices do escalate and we also had a rate increase in January but we feel we have added value to our rooms and facilities to justify this increase and give the client the benefit thereof.

In preparation of the world-renowned event in June 2010 namely the Soccer world cup, we have up to our game and herewith want to share all our renovations and additions done to the George Lodge International with you.

New at the George Lodge:

ROOMS

Our 22 en-suite rooms have been individually redecorated for individual style, comfort and relaxation yet still appropriate for the business traveller, who wants to work in his room. The renovations included linen, curtains, and headboards for the beds, new furniture, hairdryers and also new carpets. For a more individual approach to our client’s needs we have a variety of bed settings to choose from i.e.: single, double, and family as well as a choice of three self-catering rooms. With a choice of either a room with a bath or shower, we make sure that we accommodate all individual preferences.
Our rooms are equipped with 74 cm slim fit TV’s with a choice of 11 channels to choose from, for those who prefer work to watching TV, our room is designed with a designated working area as well as wireless connectivity is available in all the areas of the lodge.

For the benefit of the our female guests who wants to look their best, we have fitted new hairdryers in all our rooms. We also supply each client with complimentary bottle of George Lodge branded water.
Breakfast is complimentary with your accommodation rate and consists of a continental breakfast buffet followed with your choice of our hot breakfast.

We do not supply dinner on the premises, but a variety of excellent restaurants are within walking distance of our establishment. For the business traveller, arrangements have been made to give the allocated amount made by his/her company in cash, and the choice of restaurant rest with the client. (The client can also be taken to the restaurant by our shuttle service)

Double Room two people sharing a room R600.00
Additional adult family room – sleeps three R765.00
Children between age 3 – 16 additional R120.00

SHUTTLE SERVICE

The George Lodge is also proud to announce that we now have our own shuttle service. We do airport transfers, transfers in town, day trips and golfing packages in the Garden Route. CONFERENCES
We are proud to say that our conference facilities have been upgraded, renovated and redecorated and is now a real state of the art facility. The venue has been fully carpeted, fitted with new curtains, tables, lights, wall décor as well as air conditioners. It has all the standard conference equipment as well as a data projector. The venue can fit up 50 people in various seating arrangements and has ample space for relaxation as well as training. It also has a designated smoking area.

We also have a boardroom that can seat up to 12 people and is ideal for management meetings, brain storming and small training groups. The outside of the George Lodge has also been enhanced with new décor, signage, clearly marked parking area as well as a designated area for large busses to enter our parking area. The security of our premises has been enhanced with 16 CCTV cameras.

Last but not least our braai area with a lovely deck
over looking our swimming pool area is there for the exclusive use of our guests and very relaxing after a long day of hard work.
