George Lodge is flying the flag today

Three million tickets 64 matches 32 teams. Approximatley 450 000 international visitors. A global television audince of more then 26 billion viewers. 48 million proudly Bafana Bafana supporters. The George Lodge is part of this hole team our lodge may be beidge on the outside our bus may be blue our 22 rooms got its own theme but today at the George Lodge you will only see yellow as the staff at the George Lodge is taking part in the National Fly the Flag day by wearing yellow shirts. This is the mark to tell everyone its only 100 days to go before the first soccer ball will be kicked off in Soccer City Johannesburg on 11 June

At 12:00 everyone is asked to sing the national anthem of South Africa dance the diski dance and acknowledfe the flag

The Diski Dance is fun!! It’s very easy to do. It makes you feel good. It makes you want to go out there; cheer for your team; paint your face in your national colours; wave your supporter’s flag; see goals being scored and celebrate with thousands and thousands of others.

Here at George Lodge we will open our hearts and the lodge for the hundreds of thousands of visitors who will soon be driving, flying and sailing to South Africa not just South Africa but the heart of the Garden Route George.
